I'm still getting voices and images while trying to sleep. My dreams are extremely vivid at times. I feel stressed out and miserable about this. I'm still able to work and keep up with things in life. I wish I knew what was going on. I've had 3 psychatric assessments and nothing.

Look up hypnagogic hallucinations. They generally occur as a person is falling asleep and are pretty common, they don’t necessarily mean you have schizophrenia. Many people without it experience them.

I've been getting these lately, while distressing, they aren't a medical concern. If they are about past traumas it could be PTSD.

I can't think of any traumas. I did have a lot of career related stress that lasted awhile. I'm getting really vivid dreams and some are related to my job. I'm getting hypnagogic hallucinations often. I get waves of anxiety throughout the day. I'm concerned, reached out for professional help, and I didn't get any answers. I asked about depression and they said possibly. I mentioned the hallucinations and they said that can happen when you fall asleep.
