Well, group is cancelled for now at the clinic so I won't be going anymore for the time being. That sucks because I only got to go once but I understand why they're doing it. Luckily I seem to be doing pretty well with my ED recovery despite that.
My appointments with my therapist and psychiatrist will all be over the phone for now __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Sorry BB <3
Your fear centre is activated. Happened to me yesterday but I didn't panic. I was very suicidal but olanzepine is a really good mood stabilizer. Being honest with my family helps a lot. I started off with a panic attack like 4 times a week this summer. Now it's been 2 weeks without one + only a few in the past 2 months since I was in the hospital and put on olanzepine. I think the SSRI that you're on could be contributing to the panic. I felt emotionally numb (A form of dissociation) on Prozac and once I realized that I couldn't listen to podcasts anymore, I stopped taking - But talk to your doctor about it. Humour/laughter helps. It's like the opposite of fear.... |

Thanks Desoxyn, I'll talk with my doctor and see what she says. I went a week without one which is an improvement, cause I was having them daily. I've got Christmas music on now which puts me in a good mood. And I'm watching my favorite YouTuber who's a gamer that combines gaming with humour and that's helpful too. I'm drinking a cup of Chamomile tea right now

I also struggle with coffee. I love it but every now and then it gives me bad anxiety. I don't know how to do moderation, I drink it a lot (only one cup today but in general it's usually like 7-8 cups). I want the boost it gives me. Maybe I should just focus on drinking 1 or 2 really strong cups of good quality coffee a day instead of drinking it all day.

Amelia, my cat, went out exploring last night around dinner time. She came slinking in with what we think was transmission fluid all over her! We immediately got her into a bath and put some dawn on her and tried to scrub it off. In the meantime I was calling the emergency vet to see if we could get her in because I didn't know if she had ingested any. After filling out a billion online forms, the emergency vet calls me and tells me just to bathe her and there's nothing they can do. She is still a hot mess. We give her another bath, this time with vegetable oil and dawn because not so helpful emergency vet said that vegetable oil or olive oil would help cling to the transmission fluid. Yeah, right. I ended up with a wet, angry, oily, dish-soapy cat. We went through a ton of towels trying to dry her off but they were getting dirty so we kept going through more towels. She is still leaking fluid from her coat this morning, all over my bed and pj's of course. I fed though and she ate so I am reasonably sure she didn't ingest any of the transmission fluid besides maybe licking some off of her fur. She looks miserable. I am miserable. My beautiful cat looks like a drowned rat. I don't know what else to do to clean her! We found the pan of transmission fluid that she must have jumped into in my neighbors yard. It was right next to the fence. So she must have jumped over the fence and landed in it. That explains how it got on her belly. Poor Amelia!

What's everyone doing? I am at work, but I'm not really working. I set up a giving campaign on my facebook for a charity my Church supports called Lespri ministries. They are in Haiti. I'm bored at work and it doesn't help that it is a short week. I have zero motivation and I'm worried about my cat! I think I'm going to have to try to give her another bath when I go home today. She is going to hate that and she is going to Yowl. But gotta get that messy stuff off of her. My Mom was going to go to Wal-mart and get some of their $2.88 throw away towels since I'm sure she doesn't want transmission fluid in her washing machine!

I’m working on my case study for my ethics course. Sitting around 2,100 words of out 2,500. Squeezing in words at a time trying to figure out how to stretch it. Then I’ll research more about interview questions and practice that. Maybe watch some TV in there.

Ugh, it's hard trying to stretch an essay. I tend to be verbose though so I usually can meet the word minimum. If there's a maximum, that is where I usually have trouble!!!

I’m up to 2,450 words so I’m just needing 50 more to meet my count! Should find a quote to throw in there...
