I have come to terms with the fact that I will never function normally or as good as everyone else. And that my disability compromises my previous set of skills. I will never get better. I will never lead a normal life. I will be disabled for the rest of my life. The only hope I have is taking psychiatric medications. And even then, I will still never be normal. My life will suck for the rest of my life. My goals have been shattered.

You can still have a good life with mental illness. What would you like to do? You may still be able to achieve it!

You can still accomplish amazing things. You just can't expect yourself to be able to fit in within the confines of the "normal" individual's lifestyle. Redefine your expectations. Radical acceptance. Okay, we've been given a sh-it hand in life, now what can we do with it?
