I need some perspective here.

I am taking four classes - History, Tests, Personality, and Psych Law.

I have the same prof for Tests and Personality. He is also my therapist so I am hesitant to say too much to his face about school in case he fires me as a client.

I have an A in History and an A in Psych Law. I am failing Tests and I have maybe a B in Personality.

Last Monday (so two days ago) our paper proposals were due for Personality. I actually emailed him mine last Wednesday (per his instructions). He said he would get back to me on Thursday. Then he said he'd get back to me by Sunday. Then he said by Monday. Last night I emailed him and asked if we could chat after class today. He has posted office hours but he goes to meetings and the gym during this hours, so he's not really there.

I had to miss Tests this morning because I had a weird glitch in my work schedule. Otherwise I don't miss class. Ever. But I made it to Personality tonight.

We have an online system where profs can post assignments, notices, marks, whatever. He does not use it.

For Personality -

He did not know the material at all. One of the students knew the material better than he did.
He gave us a "pop quiz" at the beginning of class on the material he hadn't even taught yet (it wasn't worth marks, but it certainly did not set us up for success or feeling good).
When he gave back the paper proposals he had lost over half the class's papers. He has no idea what he did with them. He said he'd try and find them by the weekend. The paper is due in two weeks.
I emailed him last night reminding him he told me three times he'd get back to me about the paper, and he hadn't. He replied to that email with the time for my upcoming therapy appt (one has nothing to do with the other. Maybe he was drunk?)
When I approached him to talk about my paper he gave me a blank look and did not even know my topic.
When I asked him for a two sentence run-down on what we did this morning in Tests, he would not tell me. (Yes I can ask a fellow student, except I don't know anybody in that class, so I have to randomly pick somebody on the class list and be like "hey...you don't know me but...". I've NEVER heard of a prof not willing to help a student who missed a class, especially because he will not use the online system.)

Am I being unreasonable to be very angry and upset with him right now? Like some days, I seriously wonder how he dresses himself.

I have taken some Ambien and started to calm down a bit. I have requested a meeting with him for next week to discuss my concerns with him about how class went. Is that inappropriate? He probably won't actually give me any time but I thought i'd try.

((((piggy momma))))) I agree that he's acting a bit weird. I don't think you're being unreasonable, although it's true that professors can be very busy. I'm sorry
