I just really want to vent...

It's taking a toll on my mental health to review for my nursing licensure exam and at the same time, be distracted with family problems and having enemies at the office...

I want to focus on my review, yet daily encounter with these people are my stressors and it's not helping me to concentrate...

I really do not know what to do...

Is it possible you could take a couple of days off and check into a motel or something to study? Due to the circumstances of your preparing for your important exams, could your employer not be understanding of your dilemma?

I don't think checking in a motel is a practical option for me at present since my savings are scarce...

My employer doesn't really care, to be honest...My enemy at work manipulates our employer to turn my employer's back on me by having her as beck-and-call to my employer's every command...

I'm just patiently waiting to take my exam so that when I pass it, I would be able to resign from my current work...sigh Difficulty reviewing for exams because of stress from family and others

Just where do you do your studying? I say find a quiet place outside of your home.

My favourite place to study was in a quiet alcove in the basement of a seminary at my University - and I am not even religious.

I really suggest you find a place away from your home to study

I'm in a similar situation. I could study in the library but it's such a hike and I have to carry all my crap with me. So most of my studying is done at home, which I agree is not an ideal place. We just have to do what we can, where we are, and with what we have.

If you are at all serious you will make the effort to find a place Ellie_jo - and this includes packing your stuff to the library. It is part of the responsibility and commitment that comes with higher education. I really don't think you have the right to complain about studying at home if you are not making the effort to do otherwise.

- maybe there is a place closer than the school library
- maybe there is a municipal library closer to home
- maybe there is a coffee shop you can spend a few hours in
- maybe there is an understanding friend's place that is more quiet
- maybe there is a quiet public space like an art gallery or conservatory
- instead of lugging your crap back to school from home, find a way to study at the school library before leaving it in the first place

So many opportunities you seem to be missing here.
