For the depression it's keeping to a routine and keeping busy. But also making sure I get enough sleep. Exercise is supposed to be great but I'm not too good at that part. For my anxiety I force myself to do things I don't want to do because I know that each time I don't it just gets harder. If you're afraid to go outside for instance, go out for at least a short while each day and eventually it gets easier. Exposure to things you're to afraid to do are key. Hope any of that helps.

Depression at the level of the physical body is manifested as the internal tension of the muscles of the face and head. Often this tension is hard to notice, because it is very strong, but on a small amplitude. This is not an explosion of emotions, but a kind of background. People perceive depression, sadness as feelings, but it is also internal tensions. And this tension should be removed.
And to take it off, you need to understand that it is. But in so doing, you must ignore the emotional coloring of the feeling! This technique can help for relaxation - you will appreciate the comfort and warmth of the room, the silence of the night and your excited state. Evaluate how your inner state is in the dissonance with the outside world. Imagine yourself as such a small terribly tense piece, which is part of this huge world, so calm and so big. And then try to harmonize your inner state with this world. Most likely, you will not be able to quickly remove these tension, but you must understand that it is, and you must understand where it is localized and how strong. Sorry for my English. |
