@HappyCrafter

I am trying to launch a freelance writing business for myself on the side. It's harder work than I thought it would be. I made a lot of connections on LinkedIn to boost networking and made a really good Contact with a lot of ideas. I have to make a brand for myself and put myself out there to get clients.

Right now I am in school for Business Management but I am having a hard time staying focused and doing my work. I hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Did you finish your task list today?

I got most of my work done today. The mail can wait and so will the rest of my fridge, LOL

Your freelance writing business sounds interesting; writing about which topics?

You know that is a really GOOD question. Part of starting anything freelance is that you have to have a "niche" or something you're an expert in that you can write about and build a portfolio with. Right now, I haven't the slightest clue!! So part of the journey would be figuring that out.

Today, the goal is to finish my school stuff.

Good luck with finishing up the fridge and getting your mail sorted!!

Ok, these are my thoughts: what about expanding on your blog? Recovery is chock full of life skills everyone can benefit from. What problems have you solved? How did you get to where you are today? How are you better than you were yesterday or the day before?

Today, I am mostly being a slug, but I am working on folding and hanging up the laundry on my bed. It's been there for ages, as I sleep in my recliner.

I cleaned out a bead tray and am continuing to clear the laundry off of my bed. Even if I do something small, it helps me feel better about myself and my day.

Yesterday, I had to back off of my goals and chill. So, I did. Also, I was down yesterday and I allowed myself to just let nature takes it course. I have found that when I am down and sad about something, if I let it do its thing and I let myself feel it, I not only get through it, but it heals parts of me I can only reach through that path.

So, feeling better today, I did more on my bed and it will be finished tomorrow.

Next I will work on my work tables.

I lose track of time and did not realize that three days have passed.

I got my crocheting hook and yarn out and have been crocheting. I made a small piece but it is turning out nicely. I am still working on my work table. It is slowly getting straightened out.

Ok, I had to slow down and veg for a few days. I am ready to resume my work.

So, I will be working on clearing my work table, reorganizing really, and start playing around with the videos I will do for my blog and youtube, vimeo, etc.
