I want to cut so bad. I can't stand the pain. i can feel it inside up to my throat needing to come out. I just want to cut and let it out. I can't sit still, something needs to give.

Monty:

You can stand the pain. You don't have to do this. It's hard, I know from personal experience, but I have held out so long, I can't even count. I know it's a difficult situation to be in. Is there any coping techniques that you can try and that are safe for you? Just take it a minute at a time if you have to.

You can do this.
Take care and stay safe,
Kimberly.

TY (((((((((((((((((( Kimberly )))))))))))))))) When I get in this kind of state it's so hard to think. I don't really know any kinds of coping skills. The only one I know is to put it off as long as I can and maybe I won't cut. Thank you for caring. Monty

That is what I like to do as well. But it always seems to hit me when I'm unable to get away and find peace. My T has thought me how to go inside my head and go to my safe place that we have made. ( It's a flower shop) But sometimes it's hard for me to calm down enough to relax enough to do this. Guess I need to go there more often so I don't get so worked up to where I can't relax myself. Thanks Monty

I can feel your pain...........quite literally.

Wanna hear some old sage advice??? Use a red marker and pretend it is a blade...it works! (just don't use a permanent marker)Yell, scream, whatever when you make a "cut" Get it out of your system! Follow w/ a good cry!
Repeat as necessary........

Penny for your thoughts.......hugs by the ton!!!

((((((((((((((((((((((((( DayZee ))))))))))))))))))))))))))) TY, I try using pens when I can. And sometimes rubber bands and ice. Think the ice helps tons. hurting I no a lot of times I use ice to help from switching as well. I get hot and I can't stand being hot and I switch. It's one of those things with the waves of emotion you get and can't stand. I know the longer I put off hurting myself the less likely I'm am to do anything. I also have a no harm contract with my T. Which helps tons. I have a list of support #'s on it I can call to help me out when it gets to bad. But sometimes I can't physically speak during these times. Ya know how hard it is to cry sometimes. I always think I have to be strong and not let those around me know I'm having a hard time. hurting I Need to learn how to get it out. hurting
