Hey, how's it going? Don't know too much about your case or progress, but I though that guided meditation, journaling, or a bit of mindfulness training might help. I know for a fact it works since I tried and it helped a lot with my self esteem. I'm still struggling every once in awhile, but when things get especially tough, I write things down. Jot things down on paper frantically for a couple of minutes, like a a purging process and then I either choose to burn the result or keep it.

Thanks, I'm still struggling but I'm at 28 days of no self harm. I'm having a lot of sui thoughts though. It's between passive and active. I'm thinking about a way to Sui but I don't have the means to do it. So I am thinking about how to obtain the means. SH would probably help defuse some of these thoughts for a while. But I'm trying other things. Journaling is good. It helps me a lot. I haven't been doing it too much lately but I should start up again. I'm just paranoid my parents would read it. My Pdoc gave me some cds of guided meditation and they did help with the anxiety but not so much with the SH. I'm seeing him tonight though. He has some supplements for me to try. Thanks for asking. Kit, you don't need to have a regular diary or journal, you could just keep everything in digital format and it's way easier than guarding things under lock and key. Hotmail, which is now Office, has a lot of apps for you to use and write down reminders, daily entries, and so on.

Things went well. He gave me some supplements he bought online for me and he gave me three books. He thinks I might have trouble making something in my body which is why the anti-depressants aren't as effective for me as they should be. He is leaving to go into private practice at the end of the year, but I can still afford his fees so I'll be going with him. I have 30 days self harm free as of today.
