Hello ls20071: I'm sorry your concerns are not ones I can be of help with. Hopefully there will be other members who will have some tips they can share. However I believe this is your first posted thread here on PC. So... welcome to Psych Central.
The best that I would be able to do, with regard to your concern, is to direct your attention to the list of things to do instead of hurting yourself that is contained in the "Sticky" at the top of the Self Injury forum page. Here's a link to that listing: Things to do instead of hurting yourself I hope you find PC to be of benefit. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." Setting small goals helps. Like to not SH for x number of days. And then build on that. There's lots of ideas of things that help which Skeezyks linked in the response above. Do you have a therapist? HUGS Kit
