I cut my arm last night. It has been a long time since I've done it. Stress, pressure, and felt like I needed to escape my own head and I didn't know what else to do for relief. I told myself I wouldn't do it again, but I guess I'm weak. I'm really embarrassed and disappointed in myself.

HUGS @Jester's Rags
I'm sorry that you hurt yourself. I totally get it though. I hurt myself too. I hope your cut(s) are okay. Make sure you are taking care of them. Use this time to self soothe if you can. Do something nice for yourself and calming for yourself. I know when I have cut myself, I could use a little extra tender TLC for myself. Even just using the gauze and neosporin and taking care of the physical aspect for me can be doing something nice for myself. You are NOT weak. You chose to use a coping method that maybe you would have preferred not to. That doesn't mean there is anything weak about it. It is a coping method, that is all. Not the best one. Not the worst one. I'm sorry you are feeling disappointed and embarrassed. Hang in there. Know that there are others here that understand what you are going through. You are not alone. Not at all my friend. Take care of you. HUGS Kit

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I have a place to show my feelings where others can understand and relate.
