Hi everyone. I have stitches on my SH wounds right now and they don't come out until Monday. They are so itchy! It is driving me crazy! I have gauze over it, taped on the top and the bottom and open on the sides. That is how they did it at the psych hospital. Every morning and every night I put lotion on them to try to stop the itching but the itching continues! I try to itch it through the gauze. Argh. It's so itchy.....

I know what you mean. I hate itching SI wounds. I had stiches removed a week ago, but it kept itching until the scabs fell off. I felt kind of uneasy about itching when they were still in, though.
