well its past 1 am and I cant sleep. work is going to be hard tomorrow. crazy enough today was a good day but my moods at night spiral out of control and all I want to do is self harm. well here I am... sitting in this office room by myself debating should I try to force myself to sleep or should I do the deed and it make me calm and relaxed enough to sleep. its such a tricky wire to walk on. I know the obvious answer is go to bed but in my mind it just isn't that simple. my skin aches for it. I can physically feel signs of needing it. its somewhat overwhelming. figured id message here and see if id get any support im doing the best I can. I know that's all I can do but sometimes it doesn't feel like my best is good enough.

Hi BrOkEnAnGeL5915 - welcome to Psych Central. I am sorry you are struggling with getting enough rest and sleep. Self Harm, like any habit may be challenging to change.
