And in addition to that, I can't stand gore but when it's my own blood, it's fine as long as I don't cut too deep since I'm squeamish. Is that weird/abnormal?

I don't know if this is weird / abnormal. I've never been a cutter. But I've done other things that have left me with permanent physical impairment. Each of us who self harm have our own things we feel able to do & other things we don't I guess. From my perspective, what you describe is simply what you feel comfortable with.

How do you feel when you see the blood? I'm curious as to what it does for you?
As for your question, I don't think that it is weird. I agree with Skeezyks that we all have our own behaviors that we have developed. |
