My son, my "baby", turns 30 today! Now both of my children are in their 30's . I'm so happy for them; they are both doing well in life - and that's in part attributable to me breaking cycles of abuse that happened to me when I was growing up. I swore that my kids wouldn't go through it.

I feel OLD. I'm trying not to think of how fast thirty years have sped by.

Interestingly, I slept very hard last night (Camus' 'black out sleep) and had intense dreams of disease and grief. Yet, when I awoke I felt cleansed of so much negative "stuff" I had been carrying around, without even realizing it. Truly a "white sage" dream experience.

Glad you had such a cleansing dream! My babies are in their mid to late twenties, and I can think of how I might feel when the youngest turns 30. And I had my sons later in life.
