So the ebay seller finally got back to me. She said because shipping costs so much for the both of us, as the costume came from China, it would not be worth returning it and suggested I see a tailor. I unwrapped the jacket again and sure enough, there are seams available on both the back and on the sleeves for the tailor to hem to suit my needs. Tomorrow I will go to the local dry cleaners and see what can be arranged, but if not, there is a tailor that specializes in prom dresses and suits that could help for a hefty price. I was angry earlier because I felt so ashamed I did not think it through...but at least hope is not lost! No need to throw away a good costume just yet...I think once it is tailored and I see how good I look in it then I will fall in love with it...but right now I am still a little glum because I have spent so much money...

Just got back from the tailor...she had declared it irreparably too big to fix and that I should just buy a new one =[

I am so bummed out, sinching the waist alone was $50... I am very upset because now I need to resell it, and who is going to want an SS uniform?

That's bad news Doc...I'm sorry it didn't work out well. Everybody makes mistakes. Don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck with the sale

Thanks I've already recieved 10 views of my product (about one per hour), which means there are at least 10 people looking for uniforms. I am feeling hopeful. I've got both the auction set up and the buy it now. I'd be thankful to sell it at all, but if someone does the buy it now, I actually make a profit!

And now, I have to be strong enough to last six more days until I can see my T without spending money on my uniform (not including the money from the outrageously rude service I got from the UPS store who messily shoved my uniform in a box without making it look presentable; I had to take it home and fix it because I gave it to the guy in a jc penny bag and there were sewing material in it that I needed!)

Got 7 new views and one watcher, so that mean someone is seriously considering buying it! I'm so excited! It will be nice to get my money back.

Not to mention the value of a lesson learned BTW you have competitors offering the same thing for a lower price so be prepared to relist or negotiate. But you never know about ebay...I sold something once for almost 10 times what I paid for it. Hey...did you buy a 75mm Porsche throttle body a few years back??? Just kidding I hope your sale works out.

I know, that is another mistake learned. I bought the first thing I saw and did not bother to compare it to other items.

I am selling it for what I bought it for, I want my money back and I am hoping that someone will buy it...Wish me luck!

I wrote to Jacob tonight--my former imaginary friend. He's the wisest and he'd know what to do...I wish he was real so he could tell me what's going on in my head.

I wrote to him about my fantasies...about Emma...meeting her and her story...It's so well thought out and I'm worried this might be one of those "phases." The kind of phases that lasts 7 years...I don't want that, or maybe I do and I just want the rest of the world to be okay with it...but I don't know what to do...this has been the longest month of my life! =[

Aww, I'm sorry. D: That might also be why certain people were browsing the page, waiting for the price to drop.. >:| Darn stingy people.

I was afraid that might happen. Craigslist might be something to think about but that would require personal contact. I don't think you want that. Probably not a good idea. Should I wish you good luck or you think that would jinx you?

CL has a lot of dbags unfortunately.
Your uniform will sell...it just may not sell for as much as you hoped. If you can wait, list it for $5 less than the lowest priced competition. If you're in a hurry...slash the price.
Think of it this way...the lesson learned just became even more valuable
