My wife was recently prescribed Lexapro. Her energy, libido and ability to reach orgasm are way down?

Anyone have any experience with this drug?

Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest she talk to her doctor.

I was on Lexapro for years. And now that I'm off it, I realize that it put me in a fog. I had no energy either. And I don't think it was really helping my depression either. I really can't speak to the other stuff.

I don't know how reliable that is, but the side effects listed seem to be exactly what you describe in your wife, and apparently par for the course.

I have been on Lexapro for about 8 years. I started at 10mg and worked my way up to 40mg. I still notice some of the side effects, but they far outweigh the life I was living before the meds. My current problem is Lexapro just went generic. I am unsure if it is really working for me. I am crying more, feeling much more apathetic, and in general, displeased with my life.
I do notice a decreased ability to orgasm. That is really the only complaint. With the right partner and/or toys that can be helped.
