I'd also like to hear opinions - I've wanted to experience life as a woman pretty strongly - more socially than sexually though, I guess.
(Sorry to not add anything to your question, newtus). |

Anybody got womb envy? I actually resent being female. It's been a raw deal for me.

Well lets see now, it always gets in the way, it erects when you don't want it to and never when you do. Nuts get squished often and when you get past 50 you are prone to getting Peyronie's Disease. If it's not big enough you don't get enough attention and can develop a complex over it. If it's to big you get to much attention and it becomes an obsession. If you shake it more than 5 times after urination then your playing with it.
The only good thing I have gotten from having one is knowing I can increase it's size just by pulling on it.....O ya, and my son too :-) __________________ "Bipolar Disorder Is A Killer, Don't Be The Next Victim" "Psychotic Ideations Are Getting Me Down" "Don't Wattle My Comb Bro!" What if it is the power differential between the sexes you seek to normalize?
That would be pretty normal I think. At some time or another I suspect most women would prefer to be male. They are bigger, stronger, faster - less physically vulnerable. There is a status thing as well. On the other hand, a friend of mine - a big burly manly man - when asked what he did for living replied "I pick things up and I put things down". He also has a fabulous sense of humor. __________________ ......................... |

I would rather be a female, but that's mostly because I'm so shy and unassertive - qualities that are so undesirable in men.
I think it's important that we don't talk down our sex's attributes in order to appease jealousy of others in this thread. |

I think each sex has its pros and it's cons. Personally I'd rather have woman genitals because it'd be cool. Also you don't have to worry about the size and h

I think we have "parts" of both genders in us anyway; we have male hormones and they, female. I think our female imaginations are better, more detailed, and imagining what it would feel like or look like, I get that in a woman.

As a little girl I envied my best friend who could just wip it out and go whenever wherever. Me? I had to hold it till the last moment and run for my life! Nowadays, I just have 'walking topless' envy... Think its pretty normal.

I have always had a rather adrogenous side of me; masculine handwriting, some of my intrests were and are more masculine, more agression than one tends to see in a female, etc. Most of my problems, though with being female are social. I dislike the physical vulnerability but even more the "victim status". I and so many others were raised that we were born to be prey and therefore had to be protected. I resent knowing i have rights because I am "allowed" to have rights, that they can disappear tomorrow if I am not very vigilant. I resent that even today a lot of men think a big benefit to being female is that we "get" to be decorative. I hate the idea that I am supposed to somehow be weak and soft and if I am not by nature, I have to fake it. I very very dislike the social game playing that goes on in female cirlcels, even though I am aware that a certain amount also goes on in male hierarchies also. There is this way the women I have known have had of getting the claws in...
Please be aware that these are my own little demons from my own past, and I have met and worked with wonderful women and had trouble with terrible men. I even dream dreams where I am a man in my dreams, but they have seldom if ever been sexually tinged. I have mostly only been aware of it by looking down and seeing the hands in the dream And I am pretty brutally straight It's just that I can understand those who feel that they are born in the wrong body pretty well. When i was four, I could never figure out why I kept losing all the peeing contests at preschool Huggs all! |

I'm envious of women because they don't have to do the asking to get dates. I hate, hate, hate doing the asking because it's too much like a job interview with the rejection. In fact, I've been rejected almost every time I've asked a girl out. My few past girlfriends initiated the relationship.

I have to reluctantly agree since it seems to be the case for me. My last rejection was from a girl that seemed to have a rare mutual attraction, she was consistently qualifying herself to me and smiling, but she called me the night before our first date to cancel it. That rejection sucked the soul out of me for many years. I haven't asked anyone out since. I've always been rejected in the past, but that one really cut deep.
