Thanks everyone for the input on my previous thread! http://forums.psychcentral.com/showt...04#post2748304

From what I've gathered, a big majority of woman don't like/prefer not that their guy doesn't cross dress. And from seeing it here and other places, it appears the main reason why is because they want their man to be a "man".

Why is that (for those of you that see it that way)? Why is your partner required to fit into the assigned label of the typical male? And also, do those of you that answered no live a mainly vanilla sex life?

Why you be okay being with a woman who dressed or looked like a man?

I would actually. My GF doesn't anymore, but she use to when she was a lesbian before she met me. She was a butch. And she had a very dominant, powerful attitude and that's what attracted me to her. But if she still dressed/looked like she did when I first met her, I wouldn't mind.

I don't choose what I'm attracted to. Typical mail traits and physical characteristics just arouse me. I don't know why, but since most females are attracted to males and vice-versa, I'd say it's just natural. The goal of the species is to procreate, but I don't want children, so I'm settling for sex.

I think most women are just naturally drawn to men who "look" like men. I don't think it is a choice we make or anything; I think it is just more instinctive or built into our biology. Some people have variations on that biological "instinct". That's fine, but on the bell curve of life, those variations are the exception, not the rule if that makes any sense.

On my team at work, there is a cross-dresser guy. He has a beard and is dressed in regular clothing but his pumps, his patent leather boots, oh my! And they match the color of his T-shirt! And, it is just too funny. He is like a clown. I cannot be attracted to a person who is to THAT extent like a clown. I am very nice and friendly to him, but I cannot be sexually attracted. Plus, he really cannot pull off walking on high heels (I cannot either, but I know it and I wear comfortable shoes instead) - he looks ever so miserable and most definitely not sexually attractive! He is a lovely guy though.

I guess my sex life's on a diet right now. I haven't had sex in a long time, because neither my boyfriend (who lost interest first) and I haven't wanted to. Well, mentally, I want to, but physically, my body doesn't get horny like it used to.

It was somewhat vanilla, but I like to drizzle some caramel on it and throw in some chocolate chunks, if you get my drift. I like a little kink, but I've never done or tried anything outrageously kinky.

I wouldn't go looking for a man who crossdresses or whatever but the BF that did sure was a lot of fun. Multitalented, he was.

I don't know how you define "vanilla" as it pertains to a person's sex life. Do my husband and I dress in each other's clothing? Heck no. But do we have a good sex life that leaves us both feeling great? Yes. "Vanilla" doesn't have to be unsatisfactory; my husband happens to love vanilla.
