I think piercings and tattoos are incredibly sexy and they make me feel sexy. My husband has one small tattoo. I have about 10 mostly large tattoos, piercings: notrils, septum, navel and nipples.

What do you think? I have a hard time telling what my husband thinks about things like that.

I thinks tat look sexy on men and women. I have really big trendy tats. My style is couture alt with a twist of Emo. That's how I describe it. Big I'm surprised more guys don't like it. Maybe they see it as masculine.

my husband says he thinks tattoos are sexy. I've been so much wanting to get a large one on my back of a cherry blossom, but we both have our doubts that I can do it without fainting! More than that though they are very expensive.

"Not into piercings", he says. I'm sure there are plenty of men who are, though.

Maybe they don't know. Lol. My nipple rings turn my husband on but he won't admit to loving them.

Piercings for me are a mixed bag. Some can be awesome (navel piercings are....), but others (corsets, for example) are...not quite so hot. To me, anyway.

Tattoos depend on the tattoo. I've always appreciated them for the art rather than for the location or quantity. I've thought of getting a small one, but I'm terribly phobic of needles.

Harley47-
I don't know what a closet piercing is. I was going to get my license to practice body piercings but it's unstructured and pretty much a year long internship where there are usually two other interns and then after the year they pick who they want to stay. I think they should go to school for 9 mths and at least get a certificate, make a portfolio.

Anyway, I don't have anything untraditional in the way of piercings. I do have a lot of tats but they all have meaning. My last was a Jericho Rose with "Mom " on top and "Dad" on bottom, on the front side of my left shoulder I also have a hibiscus "tramp stamp," lol, my daughter's first and middle name covering the inside of my left bicep, a Victorian crown on my outer right biceps, the lyrics to a Green Day song on my left ribs, "Little Monster" written vertically down the side of my right abdomen, the letter "K" for my mom's name on the side of my right foot, my nickname surrounded by stars on one ankle, a heart with wings and a halo on the other ankle.

I want many more but they are expensive even thought I know the guys and they give me discounts.

Well I feel sexy with every tat and piercing which gives me more confidence which is a good thing

If it's artistically done and has great meaning for the person, I can find it attractive.

You asked for the truth. I think tattoos and piercings are ugly and a real turn-off.

I guess knowing the age group of everyone would be helpful in my consensus.

I don't see it as plain Jane I see it as natural and I think natural is best. I'm not sure how getting a mouthful of metal can be sexy. To each his/her own tho.

I love both, they just call to me - most all that is. I don't care for gauges or some tats. My wife is polar opposite. Turned off by both.

Newbie - A corset is a back piercing...or more appropriately a set of piercings. There's a series of ring like...rings...through which a lace or ribbon is ran through, giving the appearance of the back portion of an old Victorian corset. I had an ex who really, really wanted one...lol didn't have the heart to say I wasn't a fan, given her enthusiasm (plus it's not really my choice anyway) and things didn't last long enough for it to have become much of anything.

As long as they are not overdone or in the wrong place, like her face or all over her breasts.

I like piercings, again as long as they are on the right spot and not everywhere.

I think it very much depends on the person. I think less people suit tattoos/piercings than the amount of people with tattoos/piercings. They're so ubiquitous now they're conventional...it's like a backwards joke. Meh, people are entitled to do whatever they want.

I would almost agree. One exception for me is those ... how do I explain?.. white crystals on the side of one nostril. I like them only on dark-skinned (East Indian or Black women) I find them beautiful and not just beautiful, but extraordinarily beautiful. That glistening sparkle accompanied by a dazzling smile and warm brown eyes - nothing is better.

I love nice ink on pretty much anybody but never thought of in a sexual context per se. Piercings on the other hand can be a real turn on. Nipple piercings to be precise. But that's just me and you brought it up.
