For nearly 11 years now, I'm experiencing nocturnal emission. I use to leave a bad habit of masturbating which I have struggle with for 14 years & have completely stop this useless lifestyle. I'm tired of this wet dream. I do not think or watch porn videos. Most times the wet dream occur before 12:00 am midnight or from 12 and sometimes before 5:00 am in the morning.
I am 32 years of age. no girlfriend. I have never had sex except that i was lured into masturbation by a friend in high school but am trying to get married soon. Please what can i do to stop this shameful embarrassment? |

Hello mutik: Nocturnal erections & emissions are a natural process for all men. Of course, the vast majority of men are either married & / or having sex, or they're masturbating. I would venture to guess there are very few men who manage to go without some sort of sexual gratification entirely, as you have! But, if they are, then they're probably having the same experiences you are. As you age, or if you become sexually active in some way or another, your nocturnal emissions will cease. There is absolutely nothing embarrassing or shameful about this. Please stop beating yourself up over it!
The other possibility here, I suppose, is that there is something going on with your body in terms of it's hormonal balance. If possible, you might consider getting checked out by a medical doctor. But, really, from what you wrote, it would be my guess that your body is simply doing what male bodies do when there is no other sexual release available.

Thank you so much. I'm somewhat relieved now. In the Christian faith , it is believed to be caused by spirit wife/husband . God forbid I pray this wouldn't be my case.
