My boyfriend is into pinching which is all good and fine at home when we're alone. I understand. I have desires for different things too but, lately he has become obsessed with it and does it in front of our friends, at parties and even when we're out shopping and I've asked him to stop numerous times but, it's almost like he thinks it's funny.
Last week we were grocery shopping and while I when I reached out to pick up a head of lettuce I suddenly felt a hard pinch on the back of my arm, near my elbow that made me drop the lettuce on the floor! I whirled on him, ready to curse and he was just grinning like an idiot! I swear I wanted to cuss him out but, people were staring so, I just told him to pick the stupid lettuce up and let's go! I have come so close to punching him in the mouth over this stupid ****. I'm about ready to tell him off over it! It's almost like he gets off from trying to embarrass me and I'm getting sick of it! |

Yes, I think it's reached the point now where you have to express your feelings to him, and be honest about how angry the pinching is making you. It's the only way he'll understand, in my view. Because he seems completely oblivious or indifferent to how you feel about it. Well - the time has come.

Write to him stating that pinching should be restricted to when you are alone, and that you do like it, but not in public. first, acknowledge that you do like it, but then draw your boundaries.
