My lover & I are involved in bdsm & are RACK players. We've, for the last yr, added a blood choke hold, as opposed to air choke holds.
It's been very successful. The last time tho was not successful because of things that I saw while I was out. Very strange things & glimpses of my past which I was not expecting. It had frightened me so badly we've not returned to this action for several months. We're both extremely aware of my triggers & what to do when I'm triggered. If I feel I do not have that control everything stops. But here is unknown territory that can't be "controlled" as far as I know. Has anyone ever experienced glimpses of their past while unconscious & how did it effect you? Did you handle it like any other trigger? Were the pieces factual or fiction? Do you feel that there is a way to control the unconscious say through a series of steps? What did you do afterwards?....bec for me, it felt very real. I do not wanto lose this part of play & we've discussed that this could be an area to safely explore. But how do you safely explore the unknown knowing it might cause damage in the present....yet I'm still intrigued. I feel the more we put it off the bigger the fear might get & this is a huge concern because fear stops everything. Thanks __________________ "Doubt is like dye. my suggestion is to check with your treatment providers. it may be that doing this has caused you some long term physical brain damage. plus your treatment provider may be able to give you some ideas on how to achieve the same affect / thrill you are looking for but in a much safer way. |

I thought a stroke was from a blockage.
An ischemia is from a reduction of oxygen. And should not last longer than 7-8 sec. what type of stroke did she suffer? Was it directly related to the hold? Just wondering. I'm not sure I quite agree with the life flashing part. Just bec I've survived 2 serious suicide attempts. This was more of an out of body experience & much different from dissociation which I've had. It seemed like a different....dimension I wasn't familiar with. I'm also not sure what I saw from the past was real or tainted. Idk.... Thank you for the info too. __________________ "Doubt is like dye.
