So I went to a strip joint for the first time since I've overcome my dysfunction, which was for the most part, a much better experience then it used to be.

I have more confidence with girls, mostly because I don't think I so different. Only being a virgin is a big road block at my age.

I hope my lonely life comes to end, but unfortunately for me, that's no where in sight.

You know, focusing and working on yourself often brings good things into your life, even romance. I know it happened when I wasn't even looking at all, and in fact, was content with my life being single.

I was content being single, Now I feel unhappy. mostly because I've never had anyone who cared about me. everyone I know has had an intimate relationship with someone. So, I feel like an idiot, And people laugh at me about it. At work and sometimes at home.

I've never been on a date, because of my dysfunction, I've avoided every special thing that's come in my life. That's why I only went to strip bars, because I didn't think any real girls would want me. I don't think that as much now, except when I went this time, I asked a dancer if she would date me knowing I'm a 40 yr old virgin and she said "no". Which is what I expected her to say, So I'm not looking forward to the reaction of a real girl.

Thank you for talking with me, I just have nothing other then pc to talk to anymore, I Usually just cry myself to sleep, but being able to tell someone else makes me feel a little less alone.

I hope you can find ways to get out socially and meet people. You might encounter someone you like and find its mutual. Friendships are great and some might lead to dating. My husband and I are best friends. We were friends first and have been married for over 20 years now.

I have, not much my doc can do for me. He recommend seeing Therapist, which he said was pretty expensive.

So I'm kinda stuck in a rut, even if a girl liked me, I'd likely avoid her for fear of rejection, embarrassment and more public humiliation.

And being alone is all I know, It's what I'm used too.
