This is an odd topic to bring up, but I can't stop thinking about it.
I am a girl, and biologically female. I feel very confident about this. There isn't any question in my head as to what gender I am. However, I also have this utter dislike towards my breasts. It's not that I dislike them for their details; as far as breasts go, they're very average. I just dislike the very concept of having breasts altogether. They feel like two sacks of flesh hanging off my body, with no purpose and a lot of inconvenience. I don't even feel like they're a part of my body. I wish I could lie on my front and feel my real body press against the ground. My breasts feel weird, awkward and foreign to me. I don't feel this way about any of my other female parts at all. Is this common? I don't know what to do. I don't want to bind my top because then they'll just be squished against me and tight (also, I have awful lung capacity as it is). I also know top surgery isn't a realistic option for me because my family would consider it basically self-mutilation because they know I'm not trans. __________________ I do not think one can explain growth. Why would you not embrace who you are? You're a female you have breasts for a reason. It's who youare. Accept your gender and be proud of your body? Why do you feel ashamed you have breasts? Women have breasts for a reason and that is to feed babies with milk. Also Men like breasts because it's an attraction and it's just your chest? Are you just perhaps not comfortable with your size of the breast or do you have strange feelings about who you are? In fact not liking your breasts is probably a normal reaction. I don't think you're crazy. I have a theory you just are tired of bras. Women are sick of bras and maybe that's why they are sick of having breasts for a reason? You should be proud that you are beautiful inside and out. Be who you are and accept who you are. Everyone comes in shapes and sizes. Nobody is perfect. It's the same way when some guys who feel ashamed with their body size and they have no body built muscles or a big package like most guys do. You're not alone. Be brave and don't be ashamed of your chest. Your chest reminds you that you are a woman and you're made to appreciate your whole self as a woman.

I’m very sorry to hear that you are having these feelings of hatred of your breasts. I would think that such feelings are exceedingly difficult to live with. I would imagine that you are daily, hourly reminded of their presence, and of your seeming helplessness to change them, or your feelings about them. My heart goes out to you. How long have you been experiencing these difficult feelings? What effect do they have on your daily life? |

Well, they do keep us from lying completely flat, and can flop around in older women, but they can be very stimulating and men like them and if we have a child, then they are amazing at producing milk.
See how some women really flaunt them with push-up bras and low dresses? How about trying to see that side of it? If you got it, then flaunt it! By the way, men would deny it, but I hear that some of them have a love-hate relationship with their male anatomy. I can see why in some cases. |

Not all women want to, or are able to have children. Not all mothers want to, or are able to breastfeed. Not all women have breasts. Not all people feel the same as you. Get used to that. __________________ Borderline Personality Disorder, C-PTSD, DID, Depression, Anxiety I have a FREE short story about Sci Fi and Mental Health - Billie Prime, available at https://writteninshadows.wordpress.c.../billie-prime/ |

Have you ever thought about a breast reduction to a smaller size, that maybe could help you feel better about yourself
