to preface this, this is the first serious relationship i’ve been in. the previous ones never went very far (in short, i was inattentive and nervous which destroyed them pretty quickly) and now i’m stuck with no experience relationship-wise let alone sexually. we are also both transgender men, he’s not on hormones yet while i’ve been on hormones for 2 1/2years.
i want to ask him what he likes and all that *hot* stuff, but i’m just so nervous about asking anything remotely sexual. self-esteem plays a big role in this too, as i’m not very confident in my pre-op body. does anyone have any tips? :,)

Can you just go with the flow? Your partner may let you know what he likes in the process.

Since this is all new to you, can you have a non-sexual conversation about how much he means to you and that you, too, are very interested in making him happy? Maybe it'll lead you to a conversation about sex.

My advice would be to slow down. Take it day by day. You may learn what he likes just by being with him. Maybe what he likes is what he'll perform on you.. so make sure you tell him what you enjoy, too.

As far as your post-op body.. it's a process. There's a lot of new beginnings here for you and as nerve-wracking as it can be, it's also a very exciting time for you.. so congratulations. You'll learn to love your new body and be comfortable with it in time. Try not to over think things and find ways to help you relax.
