Wife has cancer - it is in remission thank God. We are in our 40's.
All of her hormone producing organs have been removed - resulting in immediate menopause.
So now, her libido is really low, and we struggle to have sex that is not painful. (having your wife cringe during sex is pretty demoralizing)
We have tried vaginal moisturizers and Lord knows we have a shelf full of lubes.
It's still not coming together.
She has a clean bill of health and she is frustrated as well.
Thoughts from post cancer or menopausal folks here?

My gynecologist recommends coconut oil--the refined kind (no coconut pieces in it.) Spread it inside and out.

Her cancer feeds on estrogen. She can't have any in her body - it could lead to it coming back.
It sounds like the best answer, but it isn't safe for her.
Sucks.
