Well, I'm at a crossroads right now. Lately, I have been more interested in women. I'm having a date with a woman this week and I'm nervous about it. I guess that happens with first dates.

I don't know if I am able to relate more with a woman than a man, or if its just physical attraction or both. It just seems easier and more fun ( sorry guys). I never considered myself a lesbian until now. I guess I'll have to find out for myself. . It's just hard, but that's what I've been thinking about lately.

Whales,

I think it is great that you are going on a date.
Do you think you are finding these feelings now because of therapy? I am NOT in anyway suggesting that therapy turned you into a lesbian. In my totally unqualified opinion, true sexual preference is not something that can really be changed in most people. I'm just curious if you think these feelings maybe surfacing now since you are feeling better and are maybe more willing to take a risk and act on them? These are just curiosity questions?

HI,
Thanks for the post. I have discussed my feelings in therapy for a few months now, and it could be cuz I'm feeling better, I'm ready to act on them.. I'm still a little confused, but there's no way to find out unless I try.. right? My therapist has been really helpful about it.

Well if you don't know if you are one but are open to the possibility and dont think you will be effected by trying in any negative way, then by all means, try it. See what you think.
