I’ve had this problem on and off for years, its really scary and upsetting. I wake up screaming, usually a piercing horrible scream. I’m terrified but don’t know why. Sometimes I get out of bed and run to the opposite side of the room. Last night I ran upstairs. (My room is upstairs).
I’ve woken up before screaming convinced someone was in my room, and I once got up, turned on the light and walked to the mirror and pulled at my face. I woke up terrified. These episodes seem to happen when I’m at my most anxious. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar? It’s really frightening |

Yes this has happened to me. I have run out of the room screaming at 2 in the morning before. In 2016 I ended up in the ER because I fell down a flight of stairs as a result of a night terror. My problems have mostly been solved by getting a new bed and moving it in the middle of the room instead of against the wall.
Are you on lamictal by any chance? One of the side effects of lamictal is nightmares. I noticed my sleep issues intensified almost immediately after my doctor increased my lamictal to 200 milligrams. Other people I have talked to have had the same thing happen. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

((((Eleny)))) I'm so sorry you're struggling. It sounds really scar. Have you talked to a doctor about this?
