I took a nap today due to a crash from sugar and caffeine. I dreamed I was bitten by a baby snake in a room in a house that I was hoping to move into. It bit me between the thumb and forefinger. Being mostly self-sufficient and not easily alarmed, I was squeezing out the poison (it was a lot) and watching my hand turn black and blue. I kept asking myself if I should go to the ER, and talking myself out of it. It did not seem to be getting any worse beyond a certain point. I woke up when i walked out of the room.

Maybe in real life, someone bit you emotionally when you were trying to reach out to them. You know how to take care of yourself.

Are there any people in your life that have hurt you in the past, Medusax? Maybe it could be related to that. Maybe someone betrayed your trust. Sending many hugs to you

Any issue, any problems, or nagging worries that are deceptively small that have come back to bite you in the metaphorical sense? Maybe the snake represents something toxic in your life that, again, you maybe didn't think was relevant until the last minute. This house you were hoping to move into: Is it something that could potentially come to fruition or is it just a dream. Maybe the worry revolves around the house in some way?

Hope that helps!

Hi! I already have a house that we are (slowly) restoring. Now, I do love old homes and fixers, and I look at them a lot on the net. @Mickey..many people have betrayed my trust in the past. And I have trust issues. @Thunderbow..I am rather self-sufficient a little over two years ago, two of my dogs got into a knock down drag out. I jumped in even though you are not supposed to and got my arm and hand torn up a bit. I tried to NOT go to the ER, but I could not stop the bleeding and I had a pretty good gash.

Our hands are what we use to interact with the world, we have them so we can complete activities... (?) Maybe something is in the way of you doing something (ex: the poison, the snake.). Maybe you are reliving old fears

I've read that the snake, the serpent, actually represents a phallic symbol. So, yes - make of that what you will[!]
