So I wont go into much detail because it got pretty violent. So I'll simplify it. I'm mostly curious if it could mean anything. Because ironically I wake up feeling energized and alert.
So basically the dream started with me in my room at my father's house. I was arranging my belongings and I picked out a black hoodie, a black shirt and black sweatpants. I also wore my favorite pendant. A purple glass crystal with a dragon wrapped around it on a black string. And ran away. In the next scene I was walking out in the desert wearing my chosen clothing with my aunt. The field we were in was covered in golden grass and the sun was rising behind us. It generally held a peaceful mood. I then attacked her with an unseen weapon and finished it quickly. I then set a fire and left. I then found myself invading a stranger's house and claiming it as my own. I sorted through the person's resources and packed food and water and medical supplies in a bag. As well as some money. I stayed the night in the person's bed, which was very comfortable. The next day I set a fire and moved on. I was then running from both the police and the FBI as a....wolf? I was jumping fences and slipping past trees and even swimming at one point. I then woke up. I dont know if I was ever arrested or not. But i felt very calm and i even enjoyed the dream, to the point I was in a good mood. And I had a strong urge I couldn't place. I was just wondering what it could mean. Or if it's just a product of a hyperactive imagination. __________________ If you ever see a fox looking at you through your window, dont be alarmed. I dont bite. Normally..... |

I'm not into dream interpretation. So I can't really offer much with regard to this. But, in general, my thinking regarding these sorts of things is that a lot of it is driven by all of the weird violent stuff everyone is bombarded with daily on the TV, at the movies, & in video games, etc.
I recall watching a program, on our local PBS TV station, on current research into the workings of the human brain. One thing that was mentioned was that when a person watches a violent scene such as on TV, while the person understands consciously what they're seeing is fiction, non-conscious areas of the brain react as though it were real. So, from this perspective, perhaps what your dream was about was simply non-conscious areas of your brain processing stuff you've seen on TV? I couldn't help but notice your avatar is a wolf running. (If there's something of more psychological significance going on here, I wouldn't know what it might be.) Yes, my wolf is running. I'm glad you noticed that. Random, but alright.
And I would like to report that I have finally found a therapist that I feel comfortable with. Although we cant make our first appointment for at least two weeks. Because of annoying and complicated family issues. And I've noticed I've always dreamed a bit differently then others. I once had I dream were I was running through Chernobyl's streets and when I woke up I could still smell the smoke. I wasn't alarmed, just confused. So perhaps I'll bring this crime dream up with him when I get the chance. __________________ If you ever see a fox looking at you through your window, dont be alarmed. I dont bite. Normally..... |

You are burning bridges behind you. You are leaving your past behind you. You are moving on in life.
