So I had this vidi, disturbing dream and I'm wondering if it means anything. Or what the dream trying to tell me. I would appreciate if anyone has any thoughts what the dream could mean.
So I dream I was sleeping in my bed and I woke up and removed my pillow that I was sleeping on. I notice there was big patch of blood on the mattress. I knew that blood came from my nose while I wad sleeping. Then suddenly the dream changed location and I was in a room that was made from soild concrete. The walls were smoothed and painted a lime green. I was sitting on the concrete floor and on my right was this green, square plastic bucket. It was filled with water and I was washing my face from the green, sqaure bucket. I then looked up to the concrete green wall and there was this mirror that was long and wide. As I looked at the mirror I noticed my left eye was pure black and my right eye was pure white. That was my dream. I felt a bit creeped out by the idea of myself looking at a mirror and seeing my left eye black and the right eye white. Any thoughts? |

Hello fellow Kiwi.
There's a dream meanings website I like to read sometimes, and here a some things pertaining to the blood aspect of your dream which you may or may not find interesting: "To see blood in your dream represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments. To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Some of your past actions have come back to haunt you. Women often dream of blood or of someone bleeding shortly before or during their periods or while they are pregnant. For a pregnant woman in particular, blood in dreams is symbolic of the life force that they are carrying. Such dreams are also a reminder to take things slow." Possibly some food for thought there, @TeaFruit. |

The scene indicates that you are resting withpeace of mind (sleeping) and then "wake up", i.e., that you come to a greater state of awareness. In this greater state of awareness you remove the idea (represented by apillow) that your intelligence and ability to understand the logic of asituation (the head) had been raised. After doing this you notice that you have made a considerable sacrifice(big patch of blood) in a "bed" situation. A bed situation may referto your sleeping habits, in some cases a sexual issue, or a dreaming issue. Here the sacrifice comes of your sense of knowing (the nose) which isinstinctive knowing.
The concrete room implies having a mentalattitude and opinions and beliefs that are very sure and certain. The ego (thewall) is supporting a feeling seen as lime green which indicates that feelingsreflecting very worldly thinking have created opinions and beliefs which seemvery sure and certain. Sitting on the floor would imply resting atease but in a very emotional position. This position may also suggest that youare putting yourself down in relation to your mental attitude by not makingmore of your ability to think rationally. The bucket can reflect an "ideathat can hold water", i.e. one that can hold up to criticism. As thebucket is filled with water, it can be seen as a container for spiritualthinking. [as are dreams] Yet here in your mind the container is both squareand green - both symbols of worldly rather than spiritual thinking, Usingspiritual thinking (water) that has been made to fit into a worldly thinkingcontext (a square bucket), you are attempting to correct your self identity(wash the face). Your ego structure is also backing the ideaof checking your self reflection. (the mirror)This can include checking theimpression your image makes upon others. What you may need to notice are theeyes. The eyes represent your sense of Self as well as what you can see andbelieve. Here it can be suggested that what you see and believe is very factual(black and white) - no if's, but's or maybe's. Where your seeing and believingis in the wrong (left eye), the beliefs are seen as very negative andunenlightened. (black eye) Where the beliefs are in the right, they appear tobe very innocent and thus lacking in knowledge. The beliefs reflect a veryhuman level of truth but not God's. |

Maybe the dream is telling you that you are seeing things in black and white.
