I keep dreaming that I cannot type
On my computer or text on phone. No matter how hard I try I cannot hit the right letters on the keyboard. I can Literally feel the frustration And tension when I wake up. I slow down and I still cannot Hit the keys. It sounds trivial. It's not exactly a conventional nightmare. I've dreamt it a thousand times. I wonder what the deeper Meaning of this is? Is this writers block. Words driving me insane. Can't find the words. Being cut off from civilisation. Being silenced. |

Maybe you are better at speaking words in person than on a keypad. You like to say what you feel in person.

First off, I would dismiss the idea of writer's block because you are trying to write something so you must have the words in mind that you wish to record. And you can find the words just are not able to type them out.
Letters of the alphabet are also referred to as the "characters" of the alphabet.Unable to "hit the right letters" can be implying that you are you are missing the mark or point where the character of what you are doing is concerned. If you are using both computer and phone for communication, you may not be recognizing the distinctive character of each method of communication.The distinguishing character of computer communication is that it allows us tocommunicate with people we do not personally associate with, The phone, on the other hand, is usually used for a more personal communication with those who are actually in your life. Another possibility here is that you are having difficulty with the character or "type"of writing you do. Is it communication with friends who share your life or people you never meet and are strangers? "The keys" can also be a reference to the tone of what is being written. Are some communications with strangers too personal perhaps? You might need to really slow down with allcommunications. You could ponder some more about these points and hope to get another dream which might further clarify the issue here. |
