Go me. I just stopped taking Champix this morning with my normal meds, and I've been quit a week, and my app says I've NOT smoked roughly 80 cigs, and I've saved about $80 that I can spend on CRAP until I'm Quit Quit, and then the savings can be redirected to covering other shite and putting more $ off my bills.
YAY For anyone out there that's toying with the idea, it IS possible. I've got an addictive personality, and was a HEAVY smoker, and have tried to quit 4 times already, and THIS TIME, it's working and I'm not going back. <3 __________________ Loving me's like chewing on pearls..... |

That's amazing, I'm happy for you. Like you said, it IS possible. I was a daily smoker for 10 years but I quit cold turkey. It was not easy at first but as the time goes by, it becomes a routine. I tell people to always get really busy during the first months, preferably engaging in physical activities. Also, one relapse doesn't ruin the whole effort. I am a non-smoker for 6 years now with a few relapses. Never been happier.
Keep up with the good work! |
