I feel very uncomfortable near people who speak openly about their feelings and are too serious.I was with one of those kind of people today. Someone I have never been alone with, a new acquaintance. I have a weird sensation when she looks at me... So I was talking to her and I was trying humor to escape, but I felt very childish next to her...
She was asking me about my opinion on something and I told her I was not very good at expressing my opinion, oh god! What a weird answear. Never going to learn how to make proper conversation. |

Saying things in the blur of what I call the "Deer in the Headlights" feeling, then realizing how stupid it sounded and going over it in our heads is very commonplace for social anxiety disorder. What I can tell you is that it will never sound as dumb to the person you said it to as it does to your own self. Besides that, you have likely been thinking about it long after the other person has already forgotten what you said.

I think that answer is fine
  . I think plenty of people would be uncomfortable with a stranger asking their opinion (I’m probably weird anyway )   If she’s a nice person she won’t judge you for something like that
