I am a new member here. I need solutions to Social Anxiety Disorder. I have challenge with social anxiety disorder. I believe this platform will help me to overcome this phobia
The signs are hand shaking and trembling visibly in the presence of people when writing things or filling forms. To write my name and sign is a challenge in the presence of bank cashier. I always use bandage on my hand pretending as if am having injury and I can not use it to handle pen to write. So, people will pit me and assist me to fill the form
Am feed up of this pretence
I have got a lot of offers and appointments, but to go is problem because of my shaking and trembling visibly before people
My people, I want to be free from this phobia that has been ravaging my life. Please assist me

I'm so sorry you're struggling, tayo4josh Yes, it does sound like you have social anxiety. Do you see a therapist? Maybe that could help. Also maybe you could talk to your doctor and see if he/she has some suggestions. There are also lots of self-help books to overcome this issue. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

Look into cognitive behavioral therapy. I used to have trouble with social anxiety and it helped me immensely.

It helped me a lot social progressive therapy exposure along with cognitive behavioural therapy.
I would advise you to follow the therapy with a professional. It would be faster and you will find a big support.
Maybe, I undertood bad but it seems your social anxiety is restricted to several situations or is it more spread than what I think??

I'm the same as you visible shaking ie hands etc. I'm away to start doing exposure therapy in the new year through my support worker and community psychiatric nurse.

I don't have any answers for you but I feel your pain

I did try CBT but it didn't work with me. I found it was repetitive to the point I went around in circles. Plus I struggle to do things on my own so it was harder challenging for instance going out in public as my social anxiety rocketed
