Has anyone had success in using buspar to help with anxiety? Iíve tried hydroxyzine propranolol and cbd. Iím at a loss at what to do next. Iím having anxiety attacks a couple times a week. My doctor is not being very helpful. My most recent attack happened at work and was very intense. Thankfully I was able to hide. My heart was racing my body was shakes my breathing was hard and I felt close to blacking out. Blacking out is the worst part and the most scary.

For me, Buspar was pretty similar to Propranolol in terms of affects. It helped the physical anxiety (like racing heart, spikes in BP, clamminess and sweating, tremors) which took the edge off but didn't change my ability to handle or change my mental anxiety.

Buspar is great alongside CBT and handling chronic anxiety, but personally needed more for attacks.
