From when I was a kid, u was always shy to go up in front of people to speak or even just walk up to recieve a certificate or anything. In school, and even now at uni whenever I have to give a presentation or even just go to the front to talk to the class I always shiver and my voice wavers and my heart rate increases and my habd shakes and I turn so white. It hasn't gotten better even after all these years. It always just discourages me from everything. I am **** at making friends too. I don't have any friends at uni and I feel like whenever I talk people make fun of me so I'm afraid to approach them. All this just interferes with my mental health and I always feel so down

Thanks for sharing this. The kinds of social anxiety you described have always been a problem for me too. In my case I never tried to do anything about it such as to participate in any type of therapy. And, as a result, it never really got a whole lot better. However perhaps if you have the opportunity to engage in one of the types of therapies that are recommended for social anxiety your own difficulties with it can be overcome. Good luck!
