I want to tell a story. A story that barely is gonna get a spotlight but that it happens more often than we think.
It’s a quiet story even when it shouts out loud of desperation, frustration and sadness.
I’m referring to the story of that kid in the school who feels himself out of place. The one who is always the target of disdain sights and harshly comments by his peers.
The one who is always alone and is gonna be chosen the last one when teams are building up to perform a group work at school. The one who eats his lunch in the toilets during the breaks, yes, because he carries such a sharp pain and feels such embarrassment of himself that he can’t stand exposing himself out there because it could mean more pain to an already broken heart.

I encourage you to reach your hands out them
because they are precious souls who weren’t said they were or they were treat unfairly by others who are lost, very lost.

I can relate to this in a way. I've often even felt like an outcast as an adult...I feel like I often hide (at least within myself) out of embarrassment because of how I've been treated and how people have viewed me along the way.

I just hope I'll be able to help the future students I teach who are going through something similar.

Actually the thread was addressed to kids but also the ones who are now adults but suffered similar experiences.

I’m sorry you also experienced sort of rejection when adult. World may be sometimes very hostile. I’m very glad people with sensitivity as you, are gonna be teachers. I may seen partial because I was a teacher for twenty years but I do admire and have all my hopes on people who share your profession. Justice, Education and Health are the main fields in a society and I think people should be more aware of this.
