Does anyone else feel like dying or deep, deep depression after sessions that deal with talking about old sexual abuse?

And if anyone else does,,,, why does that happen?????... it's so confusing... it's so hard to shake off the feelings and be "in my every day life".... It happens to me when the T and I talk about the sexual abuse, not other abuse or current problems in my life...

I would deeply appeciate your help... it is really impacting my life... I walk out of therapy some days, just so sick to my tummy...

((((freewill))))

I do too when it comes to sexual abuse issues. It's almost like a programming..what kept it secret...shame is very powerful..but in the sharing can open the pathways to healing, but is very painful..so I hope for you peace as you journey thru reclaiming your life..

I have had this experience also. Please talk to your T about how you are feeling. And be gentle with yourself.

It's soooooo painful.

may trigger... having problems with therapy may trigger... having problems with therapy may trigger... having problems with therapy may trigger... having problems with therapy

i haven't talked about that but i have talked about some other stuff that really messed me up.

yeah. the last couple months i haven't been so functional. depressed. crying. ruminating. sleeping.

maybe too much too soon?

time to do some of the coping stuff...
the looking after youself stuff...
self soothing and stuff like that.
