I’ve been watching Michael Jackson related videos on YouTube the last month or so, like a lot of people. Of course I read the comments. The fans explain everything away. Yet, they saw MJ holding hands with kids and talking about love and sharing a bed. Eek cmon.
Why does no one talk about the crotch grab? MJ is always grabbing his wiener and making grunt noises, and kids emulate it. It’s foul. It’s weird enough for me and disgusting enough to see the “accusers” grabbing their crotches as kids and fluttering around their idol. MJ loves it. In plain sight! Grab your wiener and grunt and bite your lip! Wow it’s an icky world and I hope perverts start getting put in their place, no matter who they are. It just seems like there are so many...insidious. I have a lot of anger towards them (kiddy pervs) . I think of how pathetic they are, how twisted and nasty they are. I fantasize about them confessing, not their nasty details, but just admitting they did something wrong rather than making pathetic excuses. I get so angry to hear them blame others, or say it’s just STUPID how people accuse them. They say people who perceive them as doing something wrong are the sick ones, the naive. And a person in political power. It’s absolutely sad to see a parent witness their child be slimed over by a person in political power. You stand there, knowing he’s a monster, but you’re paralyzed in his presence. Because the cameras, which ironically are exposing the monster. Because the party, the power. It makes me think of religion cults and the wrecked people. Man I just hate people who gobble up others with no care or remorse. Still talking about pervs. Last edited by bluekoi; Apr 26, 2019 at 08:24 PM.. Reason: To bring withing guidelines. |

I hear you. Society needs in general to start listening to people who open up about being abused, and to start believing them. People need to realize how commonplace it is, and stop that "but he's such a nice person, he could never do that, he never did that to me". Abusers who are "good" at what they're doing ususally appears like nice and charming. And they are everywhere; no community is immune. No religion, no profession, no socio-economic group, no nothing. There is so little to gain by telling about being abused, and so so many reasons to shut up. And the more powerful the abuser is, the worse it is to tell.

My father is such a nice person. He is also a sadistic pervert. What you see in public is very different to what people do behind closed doors. |

As the idiom reads, "you can't judge a book by its cover."
Ever notice from these news stories that the pedophiles are the people who work closely with children in public roles like teachers, mentors, camp counselors and school principals? Even politicians, and beloved celebrities in the Hollywood circle are pedophiles. If you dig deep enough through the internet, you can find stories about these people and how truly depraved they really are behind closed doors. As a little kid, I loved listening to Michael Jackson's music. But when stories started leaking to the press about his pedophilia with the teenage boys who visited his ranch with their parents consent, I think I was in my late teens, early twenties and I immediately stopped supporting MJ's musical legacy. A lot of artists I admire, have turned out to be really horrible people. Where do we draw the line between loving the art created by the artist who is a depraved person? Is it possible to like MJ's music yet abhor him for being a closeted, protected, pedophile? |

I don't know, I don't have any good answers. But in general, I find it hard to enjoy anything that I know was made by someone who abused others. I find it hard to admire great historical architecture and historical artifacts in museums when I know that the people who owned these things, only could do it because they oppressed, abused, raped, enslaved and killed lots of other people. In lots of cases the people who made them may even have been among those oppressed. I think you can _like_ something, yet not _enjoy_ it, I guess. This was all rumbled up, so I don't know if any of it made any sense.. |

Nope!
Done! Will not be listening to MJ anymore ... He's a child rapist for Christ's sake! Also done with: Tom Cruise - because he disrespects those with mental health issues. Alec Baldwin - because he engages in domestic violence. Mel Gibson - because he's abusive and an antisemite. Bill Cosby - because he's a sexual predator. I don't care how famous, how talented, how much "good" (philanthropy) you've done for society, your causes, etc. Once you've shown me you have a "dark" side, then I'm done with you! The one bad thing you did (or that you are) totally erases any good that you may be or have done. Especially if that one bad thing is sexually predating upon an innocent child, MJ & Fans! This doesn't only apply to "famous" people, it applies to "regular" folks as well. Anyone that engages in any behavior that violate and disrespect another human being in any way, shape or form makes them persona non grata in my book! |

Those documentaries were unbelievably difficult to watch....especially the follow up with Oprah. I could see the complexity in their faces as they were asked questions, such as, "Have you forgiven MJ?"
Ugh. Things like this are why I trust no one. FL47 __________________ alone in a crowded room |
