5-6 years ago my dad got a divorce with my mother. this was after him cheating on my mom multiple times with drastically younger girls (who also were his employees). a week later he had already found a new place to live, and also moved in with his new girlfriend (she was 20 years old at the time while my dad was 36). after half a year he proposed to her and shortly after we got to hear that she was pregnant. 2 months after my new half-sister was born she had her naming ceremony. my mom drove me to my dad's house and she drove away. this was when the hell started. my dad took me to his room so i could get dressed for the ceremony and i didn't want to because i hated my dad after everything so i couldn't accept her as my new sister. he tried forcing the clothes on me, but i kept resisting, until he hit me. he hit me and literally ripped my clothes off (which i still had on because he couldn't get them off me). my clothes had many huge holes by the time everything was off. i can't remember much from that day, but i remember going home with my formal clothes because my clothes were ripped and bruises on several parts of my body. i came home crying and begged my mom to never let me go there again and we went to child welfare about the case. i got to live with my mom for 6 months before the case was dismissed because there was no proof and i was too young to even understand everything to sound believable. i had to live with him again for many years and i hated it. started hurting myself in several ways when i got older and i started having ill thoughts. i had to live with him for several years until very recently. i got into a fight with him where to major incidents occurred.

I am glad things are better for you now. Do you see a therapist?
