When I think of or experience past events of abuse I cannot see their faces. I don’t know why I want to, I just feel like it would be easier than not seeing their faces. I’ve always had an invisible screaming male face right in front of my face but I don’t think it represents a specific person. I don’t know. Does anyone know anything about this?

I haven't experienced this myself, but I have heard that the mind often blocks out traumatic experiences. Do you know who these abusers were?

Thank you. I am aware of who at least 2 are. I can feel myself there sometimes, I can smell shaving foam and their breath and sometimes petrol. Also I can Feel pressure and things happening (sorry if I’m meant to add a trigger warning I’m not sure how to) but the faces aren’t there at all.
