Post How can I be a better daughter/person/friend/etc?.. (Kind of a vent)

So I kinda feel like everytime my dad gets angry for having stress cause my mom, I feel like I am the cause of it because my dad didn't even want kids with my mom and my mom always says I ruined her future. Honestly right now I don't know what to do. How do I become a better person all in general. I'm depressed but not all the time like I am happy 3-4 days out of the week and they don't even notice my mood changes. All they think of me is a lazy person who stays in their room all day. I only stay in my room so I don't disappointment them more. What should I do?

I am assuming you are a teen because of the section you posted in. Do you have a therapist? Are you in in person school where you have access to a guidance counselor?
