Thoughts:
I'm now wondering if this kind of point scoring on mental illness is more helpful or harmful to our mental well-being. I certainly feel worse off for having taken this test.
Did anybody find this more helpful than me? Or anybody agree it has been more harmful to their self-image? Let me know your point of view.186 :/ Feeling nuts

Thanks for sharing your results. I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time.

I've taken the Sanity Score test a couple of times. I haven't taken it recently though. When I have taken it, as I recall, I've scored slightly above 100... not terrible... but not great either. The thing is the Sanity Score test really doesn't touch upon any of my major issues. So it's really not an accurate reflection of how I'm doing. And, in fact, I've typically felt it made me out to be doing quite a bit better than I felt I was.

Beyond that... I don't consider the Sanity Score test, or any on-line self-assessment test for that matter, to be at all definitive. I like to take them & I find the results to be interesting. But I don't put any real stock in them. So whatever my results turn out to be I don't pay a lot of attention to them. At least that's my perspective.

You are not nuts. It is a measurement of the mental health issues in one's life and also the distress someone experiences due to them, and how they are coping with them. Here's the FAQ for Sanity Score. It's worth reading because it explains that it's not about "Worse" and "better" and It does not mean that you are crazy: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Your Score - Please read first! Also I scored higher at a more difficult / stressful / symptomatic time in my life, and lower after I'd been through good therapy and had learned the skills to deal with my problems, and found helpful medication. We are all at different places in our life. You're not nuts.

Thank you WovenGalaxy, that does actually help me put things into perspective and I shall try not to take the 'score' too literally.
