Hello Bluedog: I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I'm sorry it's not possible for me to share energy with you. But there can be a lot of support available here on PC. The more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus, once you've had 5 posts reviewed & approved, you'll be able to interact with other members in real time via PC's chat rooms. Lots of great stuff. So please keep posting!

I found eating a natural fooed diet, medication and a strong mindset to get better by exercise and meditation. I know that this is not easy when you are depressed having 2 bouts of very serious depression myself

Energy is my major issue with depression too. I'm on Modafinil 200mg now but it doesn't really seem to be doing much for me. Have you ever tried anything like that?

i totally hear ya!

I've been fighting this 'fight' for well over fifteen years now! and I'm f-ing exhausted all the time. but somehow i continue to have just enough to keep hanging on. and if i can, it leads me to think others can too, so hang in there!

Good quality sleep is important. A few years ago, I went in for a sleep study. Was diagnosed with apnea, and put on APAP. It helps. A lot.

I've been on a CPAP for the last 10 months and it does nothing for my energy. It makes me feel no different at all.

I really don't know how to get the energy - I just crawl through my day doing the bare minimum... I hope you find somethingthat works
