> My daughter, age 29, dyes her eyebrows every time she colors her hair! I've seen her do it! I think I'll try it next time I color my hair, as my eyebrows are practically invisible!

wow! i'd be really very careful with doing that (getting dye in your eye probably causes blindness)...

I would be careful with that too. May try using an eyebrow pencil?

Even if you don't get it in your eyes you will also color your skin. But if you get it in your eyes, I'm sure that would be really bad.

Yeah, Alex and Gemstone...I've been chicken to dye my eyebrows! Plus, I don't seem to have so much hair there in the eyebrow area. I like the blond eyebrow pencil if and when I remember to use it! Most of the time I just forget and ignore it!

I have really dark brown hair, but it has bleach blonde highlights on the underneath part... and one bleach blonde streak going through side-swept bangs part. So.... sometimes I will think I see a gray hair, but it's really a blonde strand on coming from the bangs part... but the other day, I inspected further and really did find a gray hair. It was the 2nd one I have ever found. I got rid of 'em. I just turned 26 this month. WHAT THE HELL???? Not happy.

OH NOOOOO

You have done the half and half trashy dye?

Never colour half your hair one colour, and the other half another. It is as bad as having a trampstamp.

I suggest a bottle of dark brown dye STAT.

Highlights are great, as long as they are HIGHLIGHTS ...

I have nearly black, long, hair .. .with a long swept to the side fringe. My hairdresser is AMAZING. She makes it so I look perfect even if I don't blowdry etc.

My wet to dry straighteners seem to do a brilliant job though ...

I really think that a hairdresser who makes you look like you've just had your hair cut even if you've only washed it and dried naturally should be awarded a medal.

No, lol..... I know exactly which style you are thinking of, and trust me.... that's not it! You are very adamant. But regarless, I have seen the one you are talking about, it's awful. I guess the way I described sounds like that, but they are thicker highlights on the sides, underneath my brown hair. The entire underside of my hair is still dark brown. I saw a picture of Finola Hughes and she has really similar highlights to mine. I think she copied me, lol...

And yes, the two colors have a bold constrast, but I am the not the type of person who chooses to jump on the bandwagon and become a fake blonde by putting streaks all over my hair. (At least that's what all the girls did when I lived in NY). Boooooring. Next thing you know, I'll be getting a fake tan and having my face turn orange from bronzer. Maybe I should get my hair done half-and-half.... then it can match my new half-and-half line defining my orange face from my white neck.

BTW, what the %#@&#! is a trampstamp?

OOOOH, is a trampstap that tattoo that goes on lower part of the back? I think I heard someone at work say that.

I have one tattoo. It's a vine of flowers that goes around my wrist.

Ahhh that's OK then!

I have just seen some shockers lately - it seems to be very en vogue amongst a certain set.

Yes that is a trampstamp ... trashy gray hair
