A therapist suggested a womens’ group to me. I wasn’t ready for that.

Have people had good experiences in women’s groups (irl) or are they cliquey, excluding people ....

I've just been in a group formed by a bunch of friends. But I think I'd like an all female therapy group rather than a mixed-gender one.

I went to an all female rehab, and had a great experience.


And while I'm nowhere near a regular, I sometimes go to a drop in group for women with addictions issues. I'd go more often except it takes forever to get there, by public transit. I like it when I do go, and don't find it cliquey.
