I am hope that everyone has a safe holiday this year as family and friends come over without much hassle. Sometimes it is the woman's role in a house to perform the holiday celebrations, so be sure to be safe with any children or family members or friends coming around. Be as happy as you can be and make sure you are present in the moment for the whole thing. It is a good time to be thankful again for what you have; increase the love in the home with a little bit of music. It is known to produce good feelings.

yesterday I watched the christmas bunny.

I get to watch this film once a year (just once), and yesterday was the day.

it is my favorite christmas movie, but I got quite emotional over it (I always do, it's an emotional movie) but I did enjoy it. it's still really good even after all these years.

it is now almost christmas. despite being really depressed and in a lot of pain (mainly my back), I am reallyooking forward to it- well that's a bit of a lie, I am looking forward to watching christmas carol on christmas day, more than the actual holiday itself, part of me just wants it to be over (the part of me that realises that the only person I'll be talking to on christmas day is myself)

Today is turning out to be better than expected. My mood is pretty good. I was a little sad this morning about being alone. But that is my choice. I'm afraid to leave the house and I don't want visitors either.

Happy Holdays
I’m new again after I think maybe a decade or so. I don’t even remember what I was talking about then??

Things in my life have been good mostly until maybe a year and a half or two years ago. I’m struggling again but thanks to good therapy my coping skills are better.

Our adult children are not speaking to us. They have turned their children against us, my husband and I. I miss them.

Lots of reasons for this such as my daughters alcoholism and my sons - well he has some issues. I can guess based on his behavior what they are but it’s not my call to diagnose him. More to follow on that.

My husband and I are celebrating the holiday together and I am grateful for that. I do however miss our large family , 6 grandchildren and two children and spouses. We always went all out for them. Not just on holidays. No good deed goes unpunished I’ve heard? We helped my adult children through college, took care of the children etc. Now they are doing well. All the kids are grown. Suddenly we are not needed. It’s painful every day but today I will enjoy my very blessed life.
Much to be grateful for.

I have a daughter who won't talk to me. So I can sort of relate to what you are going through. I wish you and your husband the best. Perhaps one day your big family will return. (((safe hugs)))

As a woman in a new relationship, I am in so much pain. I would move mountains for a kiss or the smell of his skin right now - but he needs the rehab he's in so 28 more days of this.

my christmas day wasn't anything to really write home about.

I was alone for all of it, I didn't get what I wanted (which was a given even before the day had started, I just didn't want to admit it), plus: my turkey dinner was less than average

I am still feeling depressed today though, despite taking down the christmas tree. I don't know why it's such a big thing for me... when I take down the tree I get so emotional

plus side to christmas is that I wasn't in much pain

My day was alright, it was rather uneventful. Usually my mentor comes on Fridays but she is on vacation this week. I was browsing classes at a local adult school and may take a class or two.

My day started off pretty stressful. But after a couple of naps and some down time in the evening, I ended up feeling pretty good. Hope everyone is well today!

My Christmas was nice. I did a lot of housework but I made it fun. I did a ton of work on my bedroom. I was happy to have that space organized. I also played with my cats. They had new toys. So it was nice. Thanks for asking!

Today I will do more housework. And then I will try to relax with a book or movie. Hope everyone is well today!

My Christmas was alright as was my New Year's. I pretty much just relaxed at home.

I am feeling very tired today. I also had a short panic attack at one point. So not the best day but it wasn't the worst day either.

My new years was uneventful. I'm glad it's over with. Too stressful to be all alone on a holiday. I'm ready to get back to a normal routine. It's funny... people sent out texts and well wishes for New years and that's the last I heard from anyone. Just makes the loneliness worse. My sister J doesn't text me anymore. Oh well, I have a new message for myself. "Expect nothing. You won't be disappointed."

I had a rough night yesterday. I got angry and accidentally took it out on my mom who then lectured me. I do feel bad I took it out on her and will try not to do that in the future but her lecture really made me feel 1,000 times worse. I suppose I got what I deserved though. Oh well, today is a new day to do better.

I've felt pretty good today. I've been busy organizing and creating a junk/donation pile. I find that I'm running out of stuff to give away. I did find a collector's item that sells for an amazing price. I think I will put that on eBay. Just need to get a box for it.
