Not having a good week. I had some light bleeding that evolved into spotting and disappeared in a few days. This was on 1/11 and it scared the living crap out of me and I spent the night crying. I went for my OB check up on the 22nd and they said the baby looked okay. We got pictures and went on our merry way. Today I get a call from the OB saying they could see 2 subchorionic hemmorhages or something like that and I need to have it looked at to see if they have gone down in size prior to my next appointment. They got me in for next friday and I'm freaking out. I have not had any bleeding since the thirteenth of this month and thought everything was okay. While it does explain the bleeding I had earlier the reading I have been doing isn't that great. Increased chance of miscarriage, the bleed could detach the placenta.....I'm trying not to cry but I'm scared again. Hubby says calm down but that is not helping. Sorry this just is not a good week!

I sure can understand how frightened you feel. One thing I'll put out there is that since your OB didn't bring you in right away, the concern must not be urgent. Perhaps the subchorionic hemmorhages are small - which is not uncommon during pregnancy.
Parenting begins the moment we get that pregnancy positive, doesn't it? Worry and wait. Fingers crossed, prayers said, hope for the best. My kids are 34 and 31 and I'm still worrying and waiting, hoping for the best. The reasons are different, but the feeling is the same. I'm sending you vibes for good health and a sweet outcome to your current fear. __________________ |

I am very sorry!!! Everything is fine. I think there is at least one in there but the OB said everything looked okay and kiddo is doing fine. I had a lot going on that week with work, ultrasound, Superbowl and some idiot tried stealing a catalytic converter from my car ( true story) that I forgot to give an update. Sorry for that. I didn't mean to do that. The OB said it wasnt anything she was concerned about and she explained it so I wasnt scared anymore. Thanks and I'll try updating better.
